Secret Lives

The term espionage comes from a French word for "spying." Espionage is the act of spying or using spies to obtain secret information, often about a country's political or military plans.  Spies are also known as secret agents or intelligence officers.

Write about spies and espionage. Do you have any experience with espionage? Would you ever like to be a spy?

In order to receive full credit you must write at least 5 complete sentences with correct capitalization. You must also respond to a classmate's post using one of the following sentence starters:
I agree because...
I disagree because...
I don't understand...

That reminds me of...

    1. I disagree on being a spy because it can be very risky. If you get caught by the enemy you could be executed or sent to prison. I think it is not worth it to risk your life to be a spy.

  2. I have, no experience with espionage. It would be amazing and challenging to be a spy. Which i like, i like all the different things they do and the challenges they have to face without being recognized. I agree, with all the things that spys do it helps us get where we are and help us know what the plan is for them for war.

  3. I would absolutely love to be a spy. Going around the world and putting/killing the terrorists would be one hell of a job. Espionage is used around the world. People want what they can't have so they send special trained people to do it for them. Then they steal the information and use it as there own and make it it better.

  4. Xavier Cartwright.
I don't have any experience with spying and I will NEVER become a spy or spy on someone. Spy feels a little to risky as it can get you into lots of trouble if you accidentally get into something that is off limits. I would rather ask someone about that subject, and if they don't want to answer then they don't have to. If you get caught spying on government property or the people, then you have a good chance of getting thrown in prison for life for espionage and/or treason. Long story short, don't be or become a spy in general. Its for your own good.

    1. I disagree with this, because being a spy would be so cool, and it's not necessarily that you are spying on anyone, you are just secret collecting information about a certain subject.

  5. Every body has had some experience with espionage. Mostly when you were little you would spy on your brother or sister. I wouldn't become a spy because if you're trying to get government information, or plans you could get caught. It is very risky to be a spy. If you get caught you could be in big trouble and go to prison for a long time.

  6. I believe spying is ok and not ok. You can spy if you want to be understand the consequences that occur if you are caught. I have done some spying on one or more occasions . For example , I was asked to go to another class by my teacher and take notes on how the other teacher teaches. I think spying as all kinds of different levels.

  7. I haven't come across someone living two different lives, but I have seen stuff on TV including espionage. I would most definitely become a spy, because I'd want to help to the world and make a difference. Who knows what kind of sick twisted people are out in the open now a days. Just think, you could be standing right next to a criminal...thats why there should be more spies around, just incase anything goes down. I understand it is difficult to live a double life, but if its helping people then why not?

  8. The only time i agree on being a spy is when its for a good cause. It can also maybe be for a special job. Other than it being a job or it being for a good cause you shouldn't do it because it is weird. If no one knows that you were spying then it should be okay because no one knows.

  9. Spys Could be useful but i think they are kind of dumb at least in the movies they are its so obvious that they are spies that you actually lose brain cells just watching these idiots run around causing havoc without ever being questioned. Being a spy would be cool for the first 30 minutes then i would probably die so i guess being a spy wouldn't be good

  10. Being a spie sounds pretty cool. Leading two different lives would be kind of hard though. I don't live two different lives, but I have experience with espionage I spie on people on Instagram and Snapchat. I don't think there's nothing wrong with it, it's fun looking at ugly people on snapchat .

  12. I haven't had experience with espionage before but I think being a spy could be interesting. I would like to try it because its not really something you know people do for a job so it is kind of unique. But like every other job it is going to have some challenges.

  13. I have no prior experience with espionage because I'm not very sneaky. I would love to be a spy because spies are just cool, look at James Bond he gets to do all these crazy things and drive the most dope cars. So I pretty much would love to be a spy

  14. I don't have any experience with espionage, but I know someone who does spies on their boyfriend, by taking his phone, screen shooting messages as proof and using them against him. I personally think that espionage is weird unless it's for the right reason. For example teachers have the right reason to spy on their students to see if they are doing their work. I do have a question though, would you count looking at somones profile through the internet spying? because if you can consider it spying then i guess you can say i do have experience with espionage. I would like to be spy if it was an actual job, not if it was to help someone spy on another person to find out information.
